Flowers, love and fantasy. More diamonds, precious stones and so much gold. The Maison Crivelli shows out for the fall-winter 2017 with a renewed dress and revised collections. The style of collections, however, is always that: value jewels, made with gold and white or colored diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, apatites, paraibe. Rings, necklaces and bracelets were divided into three different groups, according to different chromatic suggestions.

In the case of the second group of chromatic suggestions, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires are also used in a floral form, with stones that in some cases form petals and pistils. More generally, they are jewels of the classic Valenza tradition, built around the idea of durability over time, as well as the delight of drawing and matching the various elements that make up the piece.

Bliss for Christmas plays tennis, but also does a spell. Tennis and Incantesimo (spell) are two of the jewelery lines of the brand that is part of the Damiani group. Van Cleef’s lotus jewels have a finely perforated pattern and appropriate proportions. The last pieces added to the pre-existing collection are a bracelet, earrings and a white gold pendant. The petals are distributed on two levels with a relief and movement effect. On the occasion of Souffle de Diamants, the Maison also reveals a reinterpretation of the emblematic Bague Entre les Doigts Lotus, a ring with a smooth body and accentuated tunnel motifs to optimize the circulation of light.
Brilliant frivolity

And this special strip of fabric is transformed into jewels with Salvini’s Nastro collection. As it is easy to imagine, the shape of jewels is voluptuous, light and refined. It is perhaps the only case where the ribbon is inside a gift box and not out. The ribbon transformed into jewel is made of white or pink gold, in a delicate weave shape. To make jewelery more shining, are used several diamonds round cut, placed in files that alternate with metal, with sudden changes, even color, and volumes. Brilliant cutting white diamonds, that is, can alternate with either white or pink gold. In June he won the prize in Best Diamonds Over 20k category at the Las Vegas Couture Design Awards. The award-winning earrings are part of Brilliant’s collection by Fernando Jorge, a Brazilian designer who lives and works in London.

The earrings, in fact, are accompanied by another 13 pieces, all in gold and diamonds, which make up the collection. Jorge, one of the most innovative and esteemed designers of the new generation of jewelers, has been able to interpret the gold and diamond binomial by transforming jewels into a cloud of brilliant stones. In this way he managed to obtain a great volume, but also lightness: a goal that is not always achieved in jewelery. The price of Brilliant earrings is about $ 54,000. Misani, a company born in Milan half a century ago, is known for bringing back the technique of hammered gold, ancient and often forgotten by the goldsmith’s world. But not only: Another work that has ancient origins is the one that combines gold with leather, and is perhaps the first to be used in the history of humanity. The Milanese brand has cultivated these two traditions over time, but does not stop repeating them in new forms, with different collections. This is the case, for example, of the Toyama Bay collection. The name, curiously, is one of the largest bays in Japan, known for the mirages’ phenomenon on the horizon during the winter months, as well as being one of the reproduction sites for a variety of calamari. Probably, however, Misani considered only the first aspect. The collection includes a classic handmade yellow gold ring with diamond pavé, but also leather bracelets with black handmade gold and black diamond pavé elements, in some cases with the addition of semi-precious stones such as quartz citrine.
