The golds by Chiampesan Fabris

//

Six years ago it expanded with the incorporation of Diemmeffe, but Chiampesan has certainly not lost its characteristics. Now called Chiampesan Fabris (from the name of the family that owns Diemmeffe), the historic Vicenza company continues its path, which means above all gold processing. Necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings in yellow gold, with some concessions to white gold, have been, since the company was founded in 1959, the strength of Chiampesan, which continues to export much of its production.

Whit technique and experience, manual skills combined with consolidated production standards, are realized with collections that also add semi-precious stones, as in the case of the Bacio line, in which citrines and amethysts are also used. But most of the jewels are exclusively in gold, with the characteristic hand satin finish successfully introduced in the goldsmith world by Lino Chiampesan. This is a smoothing process that is achieved by scratching the metal surface to obtain tiny, dense and thin lines, which add a velvety surface to the gold.

Voice-Vicenzaoro with 300 companies and many big names

Vicenzaoro has been suspended. Long live Vicenzaoro. Which, however, in September is called Voice. If the health emergency led Ieg (the company that organizes Vicenzaoro) to transform the format of the event by also changing the name, the companies in the sector have a strong need to show their production to buyers, that the appointment is called Vicenzaoro o Voice doesn’t matter. This is what can be deduced from the announcement that, in July, the companies that have chosen to exhibit their jewels at Voice-Vicenzaoro International Community Event (12 to 14 September) exceed 300.

About 300 companies means a very limited drop of about 15% compared to last year’s attendance. And taking into account that the major fairs, not only of jewelery, have been postponed to next year, number of registration to Voice is a success, perhaps unexpected. In short, Vicenzaoro, ops, Voice has a strong attraction. The names that have already reserved their space also testify to this.

Diemmeffe, gold as silk

//

The jewelry signed Diemmeffe by Chiampesan Fabris, between hand-brushed gold and mosaic technique ♦ ︎
Chiampesan is a historical company from Vicenza, a well-known name in the jewelery market. It was founded in 1959 and is now also known through its Diemmeffe brand. As often happens, in fact, companies go through periods of change: in 2014, therefore, Chiampesan has evolved with a new partner, the Fabris family, owner of Diemmeffe.

Now the company is called Chiampesan Fabris, but next to the renewed name preserves the goldsmith tradition which provides a complete processing cycle, from the design of the jewels, to the prototypes, up to the processing. The new structure has combined the best of the two company worlds: the hand satin finishing introduced by Lino Chiampesan in the world of jewelery and the mosaic technique invented by Diemmeffe. In short, jewelery, jewelry and craftsmanship combined under the same flag. An example is the Bacio collection, with white and shiny pink gold, hand-brushed gold with the technique of the burin, to which is added the use of quartz. Alessia Mongrando

OroArezzo focuses on production

Part OroArezzo, is the edition number 40. With some innovations ♦ ︎

For the fortieth time OroArezzo returns (anticipated this year to 6-9 April): it’s a fair dedicated in particular to operators in the Tuscan area, but not only. There are over 500 jewelery, silver and goldcrafting companies, including prominent names such as Chiampesan, Falcinelli, Graziella, Unoaerre, to name a few. 450 buyers are also expected, hosted thanks to the support of the ICE.

The fair is articulated through exhibition paths dedicated to jewelery, jewelery, silverware, semi-finished products and stones that welcome some of the best Italian manufacturing companies. As always, there are dedicated areas: Cash & Carry and Tech.

There is a novelty with respect to past editions: Italian Exhibition Gruop, company that manages OroArezzo, organizes together with Ice Meccanica and Afemo (Association of Manufacturers of Gold Exporters for Jewelery) a dedicated incoming from the countries that are most in demand for technologies, such as Indonesia, Algeria, Morocco, Malaysia , India, Vietnam and Peru, with the involvement of 30 companies. In short, the emphasis is on the production aspect. But the Premiere Contest is not missing, instead, it chose this year as the main theme of the ring.

The Diemmeffe mosaics

Chiampesan Fabris and the mosaic of Diemmeffe: Italian art of jewelry became double.
In 1959 Lino Chiampesan founded the company that bears his name. A jewelery company, specializing in manufacturing and export all over the world. The second stage of the story is recent: in 2014 the firm of Sandrigo (Vicenza) has incorportato the Diemmeffe by the Fabris family, and thus the name was lengthened: now called Chiampesan Fabris. To the activity, that now is moving towards the age of 60, was added as a brand that is defined as a complementary. If Chiampesan has always been a brand known for its acknowledged capacity to make metal satin, Diemmeffe added the technique of working with mosaics, with many small precious and semi precious stones linked by a gold set, as in pendant Zeus, but sometime are added in some cases also the pearls, as in the Orchidea collection. A marriage that works, in short, who has decided to celebrate the union with its proposals to VincenzaOro January 2017 (Icon Pavilion 7 – Stand 720). Lavinia Andorno
