La designer orafa Eleonora Battaggia con il marchio Caracol ha vincito in due categorie del concorso nazionale Bijoux d’Autore 2012 e seconda nell’edizione del 2011. Ora il Museo del Bijou di Casalmaggiore (Cremona) le dedica la prima mostra personale, Visioni in Margine. Le creazioni di Eleonora Battaggia si ispirano e promuovono la natura e per le risorse del pianeta. «Penso sia necessario e gioioso utilizzare quello che c’è già, al posto di sfruttare ancora e sempre risorse che abbiamo la responsabilità di rispettare e preservare. Per questo nella mia continua ricerca di nuova materia per esprimermi, principalmente mi rivolgo al recupero e al riciclo, elaborando il mio modo espressivo, sperimentando per raccontare e anche denunciare quello che a me appare essenziale», spiega. Quindi, per coerenza, niente materiali preziosi perché l’estrazione può essere nociva per l’ecosistema.
