Article dedicated to jewelers (many) who read us gioiellis.com. We try to respond to their most frequently asked question: what are the most sought after jewelry? It is a curiosity that, in any case, may also be of interest to buyers: wich kind jewel can be safe if I have to make a gift? The infographic we publish answers to this question. At least, this has been the goal of the American brand Karus Chain (offering jewelry for men). It should be said then, that the analysis is a global, not to about a single country. Anyway Karus analyzed more than 25 million queries on Google and about 22,000 keywords associated with the world of jewelry. The result is this: at first, the women scour the internet looking for an engagement ring. Then, it is the turn of earrings with diamonds, gold bracelets and, in fourth place, necklaces or bracelets with charms. Perhaps not surprising that the brand queen of research on the internet is the Danish Pandora (almost 2.8 million requests per month): invest heavily in advertising clearly has an effect. In second place among the brands of jewelry, always according to the research of Karus, there is Tiffany, in particular for its engagement rings. Among the brand also stand out the Austrian Swarovski and Cartier, in particular with the timeless Love bracelet. Tiffany Blue Book 2016

Auction Bolaffi, history and opportunities

This time those who pass on Fifth Avenue can see a miniature theater of the nineteenth century, as a backdrop to jewelry. Bows and drapes in shades of black and Tiffany Blue frame a magical winter landscape. Sleds, chandeliers, majestic deer and small Tiffany Blue Box embellish the scene in which shine the Tiffany & Co. Tiffany & Co. warms up its collections ahead of Christmas with an advertising campaign. With classic lines now renew and proposed again with some variations from from the director design Francesca Amfitheatrof. The three collections are Victoria Tiffany, Tiffany Bow and Tiffany Infinity. The images of the campaign, in black and white, have been interpreted again by the photographer Mario Sorrenti, with the help of stylist Tabitha Simmons. The idea is to represent the time of the gift, that summarizes the emotional familiar relationships. The autumn campaign had seen the sisters Dree Hemingway and Langley Fox, Crista Cober and Iman Hammam, model Doutzen Kroes with the son Phyllon. Tiffany Victoria consists flowers with diamonds marquise cut, while the collection Bow draws a thin thread with a knot, and Infinity is inspired by the symbol used in mathematics. After Milan, Rome: Tiffany dedicates a bracelet also to the capital of Italy. Christie’s goes with yellow in NY

It comes another auction that focuses on an exceptional diamond: it is a stone of 75.56 carats, fancy yellow, that I will be sold at Christie’s in New York on 20 October. The estimate is of 3-4 million dollars. Fancy Vivid is the highest rank in the classification of colored diamonds and is considered an exceptional quality. But the ring is not the only outstanding piece for sale. In the auction catalog also appear another fancy yellow diamond ring from 34.12 carat cushion cut of platinum and 18K gold. There is also a pear-cut diamond ring on a yellow-green, from 7.11 carats. The auction house, as you can see from the pictures, also sells a number of pieces signed David Webb, as well of Maison as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Tiffany. For Fall Tiffany revisits, reinterprets, returns with to more classic jewels of its collections, but with variations. La Maison in New York this week announced that creative director, Francesca Amfitheatrof, has decided to propose a new edition of three existing collections with diamonds. The fall will be so under the sign of bows, flowers and infinity symbol, featuring old-new collections. Tiffany Victoria, for example, is the collection of higher end among the three. It uses with brilliant cut diamonds and pear (very trendy at the moment), set in platinum, to create jewelry that look like flowers. The original collection Victoria came out in 1998, and was originally inspired by a diamond corsage presented at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889.
Another revision concerns the collection Bow, rose and white gold 18K, with asymmetrical lugs and decentralized nodes for bracelets and rings. Infinity will include bracelets and rings in sterling silver and 18k gold with diamonds.

In London, Christie’s will be a jewelry auction of Important Jewels.
