Dancing in the Rain Everyday is made in the same way as the other lines of this collection created by designer Laura Bicego. In particular, in addition to the shape that includes oval volumes, the scratched gold is repeated, which makes the surface of the jewels with a pleasant effect also to the touch as well as to the view. In addition, the jewels are crossed by small lines of diamonds, which also serve to join the different spherical elements. Bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings complete the collection. The rain dance continues. To dance or, better, to push to dance to those who love her design, is Laura Bicego, designer and soul of Nanis. The Venetian Maison, which has recently landed with great success in Great Britain, extends the Dancing in the Rain collection. There is no need to listen the tip-tap of Gene Kelly on Lennie Hayton’s notes to appreciate the continuous renewal of one of Nanis’s most loved collections. Along with the classic oval yellow or white gold hand-scratched elements, Nanis proposes aquamarine and pink opal with diamond pavé. The design, of course, remains the original one in the collection, which rotates around the geometric shape of the oval. But the combination of colors and, above all, diamond surfaces make the whole new.

Rain in Las Vegas. Drops, however, rarely fall in the Nevada desert, and are man’s work. Or, better, by a woman, since the Dancing in the Rain collection is made by Laura Bicego, founder and designer of Nanis. The Italian Maison has decided to take part in Couture, the international event organized in the capital city of the game, even with the latest additions to one of the most successful collections of the Venetian company. Dancing in the Rain, in fact, even is now in total white, that is, with gold not only yellow, and moonstone. The collection starts with a primitive inspiration, that of the primordial jewelry made man with the simple use of shells, stones or seeds. The same succession of soft and rounded elements is the thread of the collection, which uses gold with delicate colors, such as aquamarines, moon stones, pink opal. As it is in the Nanis style, all the elements of necklaces, rings or bracelets are patiently scratched by hand with a tool. This is the case of Nanis, that at Baselworld not only presented a number of new entries in the collections that have become classics, but also renewed the brand. Because there are no doubts about the mission of the company led by Laura Bicego, under the Nanis logo now appears the definition “Factory of Italian Contemporary Luxury”, the better to emphasize the vocation. The innovations of 2017, however, affect different lines. For example, Dancing in the Rain, with pearls made of gold with the typical processing burin of the Maison, which makes the surface traversed by almost invisible scratches. different necklaces were presented in Basel of this line, which have the possibility of being made in different lengths, with detachable parts and closing mechanisms capable of transforming a multiwire in a soutoir. In one case, the center is a large quartz rutile, chosen for its needle-like inclusions in pandant with manual engraving effect on the precious metal of gold beads.

The milky aquamarine and white moonstone: this was the conductor theme of the Dancing in the Rain collection by Nanis. But the color of the rain, as she sees Laura Bicego, designer with Venetian roots and international spirit, now also turn pink. Among the pieces of the collection, which is one of the most popular of the House, they are now also rings or pendants with an opal cabochon pink. And so the collection is complete, and it can be so interesting for the US market, where it is customary to give a jewel to mothers who have given birth: blue or pink, in fact, combined with the sex of the new arrival. It remains the same, of course, the typical gold worked by Nanis, with those little scratches handmade by skilled (and patients) craftsmen.
