S&rsquo;inspirant du langage visuel et du sous-texte du style de Basquiat, le calendrier pr\u00e9sente des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de conception qui rendent hommage \u00e0 la production artistique de Basquiat. Dans les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de sa carri\u00e8re, Basquiat peint sur des objets du quotidien tels que des fen\u00eatres, des portes et des r\u00e9frig\u00e9rateurs, les recontextualisant avec du carton, du contreplaqu\u00e9 et d&rsquo;autres mat\u00e9riaux. En hommage \u00e0 l&rsquo;utilisation par l&rsquo;artiste de supports non conventionnels, les portes en ch\u00eane blanc du Calendrier de l&rsquo;Avent sont la base id\u00e9ale pour Equals Pi.
