Et, en particulier, ils ont fascin\u00e9 les bijoux opulents qui faisaient partie de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre collection Al Thani, \u00e9mir du Qatar. En effet, \u00e0 en juger par les r\u00e9sultats de la vente aux ench\u00e8res Maharajas &amp; Mughal Magnificence organis\u00e9e par Christie&rsquo;s \u00e0 New York, ces bijoux ont battu tout le monde. R\u00e9sultat: des ventes de 109,3 millions de dollars (soit 97,5 millions d&rsquo;euros), dont 93% des pi\u00e8ces vendues. Le top lot a \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9 par un bijou devant-de-corsage (c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire port\u00e9 sur la poitrine), l&rsquo;\u00e9poque Belle \u00c9poque de Cartier, Paris, 1912, vendue 10,6 millions d&rsquo;euros \u00e0 un collectionneur priv\u00e9.
