Il appartient \u00e0 la collection imp\u00e9riale russe depuis plus d&rsquo;un si\u00e8cle. Et le tsar Alexandre II donna la pierre \u00e0 la duchesse Marie de Mecklenburg-Schwerin lorsqu&rsquo;elle \u00e9pousa son fils, le grand-duc Vladimir, en 1874. Cartier acheta la pierre de la famille royale russe en 1927 et coupa en 1954 l&rsquo;\u00e9meraude en forme de poire pour augmenter sa luminosit\u00e9. L&rsquo;\u00e9meraude a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 un collier de diamants achet\u00e9 par la famille Payne Whitney et, plus tard, par John D. Rockefeller. Le diad\u00e8me, fabriqu\u00e9 en 1904, est compos\u00e9 de neuf aigues-marines gradu\u00e9es en forme de poire et de diamants taille rose. En outre, sous la lentille se trouve un diamant color\u00e9 non mont\u00e9 de 118,05 carats qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 dans les salles des ventes de Christie&rsquo;s \u00e0 Londres le 9 avril 2019. Le diamant est estim\u00e9 entre 2,5 et 3,5 millions de dollars. Un autre collier d&rsquo;\u00e9meraudes et de diamants, avec une histoire moins aventureuse, est estim\u00e9 entre 1,5 et 2,5 millions de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Curious est l\u2019histoire de la pierre taille \u00e9meraude Jonker Diamonds sign\u00e9e Harry Winston. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;un des diamants fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un diamant, appel\u00e9 Jonker, retrouv\u00e9 le 17 janvier 1934, d&rsquo;un poids extraordinaire de 726 carats. Elle \u00e9tait repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e sur une photo avec l&rsquo;actrice Shirley Temple dans son enfance. Le Jonker \u00e9tait le quatri\u00e8me plus gros diamant de qualit\u00e9 jamais mis en lumi\u00e8re. La pierre a \u00e9t\u00e9 coup\u00e9e en 13 morceaux.
