Outre Anvers, cette institution dispose \u00e9galement de laboratoires \u00e0 Mumbai et \u00e0 Istanbul, qui utilisent les technologies les plus sophistiqu\u00e9es et s&rsquo;appuient sur la vaste exp\u00e9rience du service de recherche interne. Hrd Antwerp a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de franchir une \u00e9tape qui incitera les experts \u00e0 d\u00e9battre: il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9valuer les diamants produits en laboratoire selon la m\u00eame m\u00e9thode que les diamants naturels. Un diamant synth\u00e9tique a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9 comme incolore, presque incolore, faible, tr\u00e8s l\u00e9ger et l\u00e9ger. Nous passons maintenant aux 13 cat\u00e9gories utilis\u00e9es pour les diamants naturels, allant de D (le plus incolore) \u00e0 M, plus NO, PR et SZ. Il en va de m\u00eame pour la clart\u00e9: cela va de cinq \u00e0 dix degr\u00e9s qui s\u2019appliquent aux diamants naturels.<br \/>\nLe choix de l&rsquo;institut belge constitue une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans la diatribe en ce qui concerne la classification des diamants n\u00e9s en laboratoire. Le Gemological Institute of America, par exemple, a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser une \u00e9chelle d\u2019\u00e9valuation limit\u00e9e, qui ne prend pas en compte les crit\u00e8res 4C, car la composition chimique de la pierre naturelle est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diff\u00e9rente. Mais il \u00e9tudie \u00e9galement un changement dans un proche avenir.
