Et sur les 279 exposants participant au Tefaf Maastricht 2019, 40 sont nouveaux. Ici, en tout cas, ne sont montr\u00e9s que des bijoux anciens et pr\u00e9cieux, ou contemporains, mais sign\u00e9s par des designers prestigieux et mieux d\u00e9finis en tant qu\u2019artistes. Ses bijoux-sculptures sont des pi\u00e8ces recherch\u00e9es par les collectionneurs et laissent presque toujours bouche b\u00e9e. Chan est un ma\u00eetre sculpteur et joaillier de Hong Kong, qui a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler dans un atelier de pierres pr\u00e9cieuses en 1974 et est maintenant une divinit\u00e9 de la bijouterie. Il suffit de dire qu&rsquo;il a invent\u00e9 une m\u00e9thode de travail particuli\u00e8re, la Wallace Cut: un syst\u00e8me de gravure de pierres qui cr\u00e9e des figures, par exemple un visage, \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la pierre elle-m\u00eame. Une autre pr\u00e9rogative de Wallace Chan est sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec le titane, un mat\u00e9riau l\u00e9ger, mais tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 utiliser. Pourtant, le ma\u00eetre chinois parvient \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner le titane comme une feuille d&rsquo;argent. Et ce n&rsquo;est pas fini: il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, nous avons annonc\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation de Wallace Chan Porcelain, une c\u00e9ramique cinq fois plus r\u00e9sistante que l&rsquo;acier, pouvant \u00eatre model\u00e9e dans une vaste gamme de couleurs et de formes. En bref, une sorte de bijou L\u00e9onard de Vinci.<br \/>\nA c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ses bijoux, vous trouverez, comme toujours, ceux d&rsquo;une autre Maison innovante, Hemmerle, qui allie des perles raffin\u00e9es et rares, des diamants verts, de l&rsquo;or et du platine \u00e0 des mat\u00e9riaux tels que le fer, l&rsquo;aluminium ou le cuivre, dans un design simple et raffin\u00e9.
