Les bijoux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9s par George Wickes \u00e0 Londres en 1735. La Maison fut \u00e9galement le premier Crown Jewellery, charg\u00e9 de l&rsquo;entretien des bijoux de couronne de 1843 \u00e0 2007. Garrard la d\u00e9crit comme une femme au long cou, recouverte cependant des v\u00eatements de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque et d&rsquo;un tour de cou d&rsquo;\u00e9toiles, de perles, de colliers de diamants et de serpents en or enroul\u00e9s autour de ses poignets.<br \/>\nAlexandra, semble-t-il, \u00e9tait une reine tr\u00e8s populaire et, avec sa passion pour les bijoux, a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un style, r\u00e9interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par Garrard en troi lignes, avec des bijoux en filigrane clair et \u00e9labor\u00e9, ainsi que dans le choix d&rsquo;utiliser la forme du serpent ou des \u00e9toiles cher
