La cause de la mort n\u2019est pas une maladie, \u00e0 moins que vous ne consid\u00e9riez une passion pour la course comme une maladie. En fait, Charriol est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 dans un accident au volant de sa voiture de course sur le circuit Paul Ricard du Le Castellet, si\u00e8ge du Grand Prix de France de Formule 1. Charriol etait n\u00e9 en 1942 et a fond\u00e9 sa maison en 1983 en tant que marque multiproduits pour l\u2019horlogerie, les bijoux, les accessoires, les parfums et m\u00eame les vins suisses. Mais l&rsquo;entreprise a ensuite pris son envol et la marque a ouvert des bureaux dans des villes comme Singapour, Bangkok, Tokyo, Doha et Riyad, suivies de Gen\u00e8ve, Beijing, etc. Shanghai, Duba\u00ef, Mumbai, Las Vegas. Charriol \u00e9tait \u00e9galement un pr\u00e9curseur de la vente en ligne: c&rsquo;\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re marque horlog\u00e8re et joailli\u00e8re \u00e0 mettre en avant sa plateforme de commerce \u00e9lectronique en 2008. Mais, parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 sa passion pour les bijoux, l&rsquo;entrepreneur a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 cultiver celle des voitures de course, presque \u00e0 un niveau professionnel. Il sera enterr\u00e9 \u00e0 Marseille.<br \/>\nLe travail \u00e0 Charriol se poursuit avec ses fils Coralie (directrice de la cr\u00e9ation), Alexandre (directeur visuel) et Laetitia, et sa femme
