C&rsquo;est la m\u00eame chose.<br \/>\nLa nouvelle concerne les diamants de laboratoire, synth\u00e9tiques, qui sont le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne perturbateur dans le monde de la bijouterie. Vendus jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 un prix l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieur aux pierres naturelles, les diamants synth\u00e9tiques \u00e9taient tir\u00e9s par la commercialisation des produits \u00e9thiques par les producteurs. Pour produire des diamants synth\u00e9tiques, vous n&rsquo;avez pas besoin de creuser des montagnes, de d\u00e9placer des terres, de mobiliser des populations du tiers monde. Mais on pourrait faire valoir que pour produire des diamants synth\u00e9tiques, il faut une rivi\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, qui n\u2019est pas cr\u00e9\u00e9e de rien, mais de centrales qui consomment du p\u00e9trole, du charbon ou de l\u2019uranium. Et que le travail de mineur est dangereux et fatiguant, mais il vaut toujours mieux que rien pour certaines populations.<br \/>\nQuoi qu&rsquo;il en soit, De Beers a lanc\u00e9 sa marque de bijoux Lightbox en septembre, avec des diamants produits artificiellement, et a d\u00e9crit cette d\u00e9cision comme un succ\u00e8s dans son dernier rapport financier. D&rsquo;autres producteurs de diamants synth\u00e9tiques ont toutefois remis en question la strat\u00e9gie d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par De Beers, accusant la marque de vendre \u00e0 des prix inf\u00e9rieurs aux co\u00fbts.
