C&rsquo;est Kaouru Kay Akihara, mais le nom de sa petite maison, Gimel, est plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre. La cr\u00e9atrice a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re dans les ann\u00e9es soixante-dix en faisant appel aux meilleurs artisans pour cr\u00e9er ses bijoux. Un exemple du travail de Gimel est la broche Lotus, avec diamants et grenat vendus par Christie&rsquo;s. L&rsquo;exposition pr\u00e9sente environ 200 types de pierres brutes et polies.
