Bien s\u00fbr, ce n&rsquo;est pas comme \u00e7a: St. Louis, dans l&rsquo;\u00c9tat du Missouri, est une ville moderne et dynamique. C&rsquo;est aussi la ville d&rsquo;Adam Foster, bijoutier qui incarne peut-\u00eatre le go\u00fbt de l&rsquo;or d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique centrale, qui n&rsquo;est pas celui de New York et m\u00eame celui des stars de Los Angeles et des environs. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique qui aime la richesse et aime que la richesse soit clairement visible. Mais ce n&rsquo;est pas tout. De retour aux \u00c9tats-Unis, Adam a donc \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l&rsquo;orf\u00e8vrerie et l&rsquo;art m\u00e9tallurgique \u00e0 la School of the Art Institute de Chicago. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son dipl\u00f4me, il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler comme cr\u00e9ateur de bijoux dans sa ville natale de Saint-Louis. En fait, ses bijoux sont d\u00e9crits comme un m\u00e9lange entre pass\u00e9 et pr\u00e9sent, traditionnel et contemporain. Il combine les techniques de cr\u00e9ation de joyaux de l&rsquo;Ancien Monde, \u00e0 savoir l&rsquo;Europe, avec les derni\u00e8res technologies. Et c&rsquo;est cette id\u00e9e de m\u00e9langer diff\u00e9rentes cultures et de mod\u00e9liser un classique de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 du Midwest. De gros anneaux, de grosses pierres, des pierres de couleur vive, mais aussi un ciseau comme ceux des artisans italiens.
