Apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9mission de la directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, Sylvie Ritter, le temps est venu pour le PDG de Mch Group, Ren\u00e9 Kamm. Le Comit\u00e9 Mondial des organisateurs du salon de B\u00e2le a choisi un nouveau changement radical. Ulrich Vischer, pr\u00e9sident du conseil d&rsquo;administration, assumera la responsabilit\u00e9 du leadership op\u00e9rationnel du groupe en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les membres du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif pendant la p\u00e9riode de transition jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la nomination d&rsquo;un successeur \u00e0 Ren\u00e9 Kamm.<br \/>\nCe n&rsquo;est pas une petite nouvelle, car Ren\u00e9 Kamm \u00e9tait \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la foire depuis pr\u00e8s de 20 ans. Avec Sylvie Ritter, Baselworld est devenu la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence mondiale de l&rsquo;horlogerie et de la bijouterie. Mais Baselworld a connu une r\u00e9duction drastique des trois derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. En juillet dernier, Swatch Group, qui compte 17 marques, dont Omega, a annonc\u00e9 sa d\u00e9cision de ne pas participer \u00e0 Baselworld 2019. Une nouvelle qui a jet\u00e9 une nouvelle ombre sur la prochaine \u00e9dition de Baselworld.<br \/>\nLe groupe Mch est engag\u00e9 dans un processus de transformation qui devrait \u00eatre men\u00e9 par le nouveau directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Michel Loris-Melikoff.
