Elle a \u00e9galement connu par le joaillier-artiste Wallace Chan, qui a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 au <a href=\"https:\/\/nyti.ms\/2uAIHvA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>New York Times<\/strong><\/em><\/a> qu&rsquo;il a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 inventer un mat\u00e9riau encore plus dur que l&rsquo;acier: la porcelaine. Mais pas la porcelaine qui est utilis\u00e9e pour les tasses de th\u00e9. En fait, c&rsquo;est une porcelaine cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans les bijoux et avec une plus grande r\u00e9sistance que le m\u00e9tal.<br \/>\nEst-ce que tu dois le croire? Oui, Wallace Chan est un bijoutier de Hong Kong qui ne s&rsquo;arr\u00eate \u00e0 aucune difficult\u00e9 technique. Ses bijoux-sculptures sont des exemples de la virtuosit\u00e9 cr\u00e9ative dont il est capable. En t\u00e9moignage de son invention, le cr\u00e9ateur montra une grande bague en porcelaine bleue surmont\u00e9e d&rsquo;un diamant et le frappa violemment sur la table. Le bijou n&rsquo;a m\u00eame pas besoin de passer par une \u00e9gratignure. Pour fabriquer ce mat\u00e9riel Chan a pris sept ans, mais il a obtenu une porcelaine cinq fois plus dure que l&rsquo;acier. C&rsquo;est un secret industriel, dit-il. Il est seulement connu que cette porcelaine de bijoux est faite dans deux fours allemands \u00e0 environ 1650 degr\u00e9s Celsius (3000 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit), une temp\u00e9rature qui est d&rsquo;environ 200 degr\u00e9s Celsius plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que le processus traditionnel. La porcelaine super r\u00e9sistante est la deuxi\u00e8me innovation majeure de Chan, qui a introduit le Wallace Cut dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, une m\u00e9thode pour sculpter des pierres pr\u00e9cieuses comme des cam\u00e9es et de le rendre c\u00e9l\u00e8bre.<br \/>\nChan utilise de la super porcelaine avec du titane, le m\u00e9tal qui a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour ses bijoux \u00e9labor\u00e9s, au point de repr\u00e9senter une caract\u00e9ristique de son style. Maintenant, la porcelaine pourrait \u00eatre la nouvelle fronti\u00e8re, car selon Chan, en plus d&rsquo;\u00eatre r\u00e9sistant, il peut \u00eatre color\u00e9. Le joaillier a dit de subir le charme de la porcelaine depuis son enfance. Il est n\u00e9 dans une famille tr\u00e8s pauvre, o\u00f9 les adultes partageaient une seule cuill\u00e8re en porcelaine, tandis que lui et ses fr\u00e8res en utilisaient un en plastique, partag\u00e9.
