La Maison romaine pass\u00e9e sous le fran\u00e7ais de Lvmh est d\u00e9crite par Vincent Meylan, un sp\u00e9cialiste du luxe, qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 travaill\u00e9 sur Christie&rsquo;s et Van Cleef &amp; Arpels. Le livre est intitul\u00e9 Bulgari, Tr\u00e9sors de Rome et, bien s\u00fbr, raconte la croissance de la marque de bijoux qui est devenue un mythe dans quelques d\u00e9cennies. Une r\u00e9putation gagn\u00e9e non seulement avec la comp\u00e9tence n\u00e9cessaire dans l&rsquo;art de l&rsquo;orf\u00e8vrerie, mais aussi avec l&rsquo;id\u00e9e d&rsquo;envelopper leur production de bijoux avec des styles et des formes emprunt\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;antiquit\u00e9, celle de l&rsquo;Empire romain, mais aussi celle des Byzantins et de l&rsquo;art islamique. La bague Trombino et les bracelets Serpenti ont ainsi fait le tour du monde.<br \/>\nPour composer le livre l&rsquo;auteur a eu acc\u00e8s aux archives de la Maison et cela explique l&rsquo;exactitude de la reconstruction et la galerie photographique qui illustre les pages du livre. Comme on pouvait s&rsquo;y attendre, les images classiques de clients devenus ambassadeurs de la marque de bijoux, comme Liz Taylor, la comtesse Dorothy Dentice di Frasso qui a assist\u00e9 \u00e0 Bulgari alors qu&rsquo;elle \u00e9tait amoureuse de Gary Cooper, ou la Infanta Beatrice d&rsquo;Espagne et la Princesse Maria Jose de Belgique.<br \/>\nMais il est r\u00e9ducteur de d\u00e9crire Bulgari comme une bijouterie pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s. D&rsquo;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;un des grands joailliers du monde capable d&rsquo;offrir un style diff\u00e9rent et reconnaissable et, disons-le, souvent copi\u00e9.
