Le gouvernement britannique a interdit l&rsquo;exportation d&rsquo;une rare bague en or et turquoise ayant appartenu \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9crivain Jane Austen, auteur de \u00ab\u00a0Orgueil et pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb et achet\u00e9e aux ench\u00e8res par la chanteuse am\u00e9ricaine Kelly Clarkson. Le gagnant de l&rsquo;\u00e9mission t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e \u00abAmerican Idol\u00bb (qui est l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de l&rsquo;\u00e9mission italienne X Factor) aimerait la sortir du Royaume-Uni. Le sous-secr\u00e9taire \u00e0 la Culture, Ed Vaizey, s&rsquo;est plut\u00f4t prononc\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;appel, qui expire cependant le 30 septembre et peut \u00eatre renouvel\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;au 30 d\u00e9cembre au plus tard. Avant cette date, il faudra trouver un nouvel acheteur de la bague historique, \u00e9ventuellement une institution britannique, qui l&rsquo;ach\u00e8tera en \u00e9galant le montant d\u00e9pens\u00e9 par le chanteur aux ench\u00e8res, soit plus de 150 mille livres (plus de 170 mille euros). La bague est l\u2019un des trois seuls bijoux ayant certainement appartenu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9crivain britannique.
