La collection de Vania Leles s&rsquo;appelle Out of Africa et est enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la beaut\u00e9 des rubis du Mozambique. Rouges, profonds, anim\u00e9s: les rubis du Mozambique sont parmi les plus recherch\u00e9s au monde. Mais elle, originaire de Guin\u00e9e-Bissau, utilise uniquement des gemmes extraites avec des processus responsables et \u00e9thiques, m\u00eame pour aider les mineurs et leur communaut\u00e9, explique la fondatrice de VanLeles Diamonds. Vania Leles, qui travaille \u00e0 Londres, est un ancien mod\u00e8le et a pour objectif d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer le patrimoine culturel africain et portugais.<br \/>\nBien que sa formation culturelle soit plut\u00f4t internationale: elle a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 New York, \u00e0 Londres et \u00e0 Paris, en \u00e9tudiant \u00e0 l&rsquo;American Gemological Institute (Gia). Elle a pratiqu\u00e9 dans les lieux de culte aux bijoux: Graff Diamonds, De Beers et le service de bijoux Sotheby. Elle a m\u00eame cr\u00e9\u00e9 des bijoux pour la Maison royale britannique, en particulier pour la duchesse de Windsor, et des ventes aux ench\u00e8res surveill\u00e9es de pierres tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cieuses, comme le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Graff Pink. Il n&rsquo;est donc pas \u00e9trange qu&rsquo;elle ait d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une exp\u00e9rience et a affin\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des pierres, comme on l&rsquo;a vu dans la collection Out of Africa.
