La vente aux ench\u00e8res de le Rockefeller Emerald \u00e0 New York aura lieu le 20 juin. La bague avec\u00a0\u00e9meraude est \u00e9valu\u00e9e \u00e0 4 $ et 6 millions de dollars, et appartenait \u00e0 John D. Rockefeller, Jr., qui l&rsquo;a achet\u00e9 en 1930.<br \/>\nLa pierre a \u00e9t\u00e9 cependant plac\u00e9e au centre d&rsquo;une broche pour\u00a0la donn\u00e9\u00a0\u00e0 sa femme, Abby Aldrich. La pierre verte, pesant 18.04 carats, en 1948 a \u00e9t\u00e9 h\u00e9rit\u00e9e par son plus jeune fils, David Rockefeller, qui l&rsquo;a remise au joaillier Raymond Yard pour un nouveau cadre. Transform\u00e9 en bague\u00a0en platine avec des diamants, le bijou a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu \u00e0 un important collectionneur am\u00e9ricain qui l&rsquo;a acquis il y a plus d&rsquo;une d\u00e9cennie.
