Il a cependant quelques ann\u00e9es de moins: le fondateur de la joaillerie au pied de l&rsquo;Acropole est n\u00e9 en 1920, dans une famille d&rsquo;orf\u00e8vres et d&rsquo;horlogers de Delphes maintenant dans leur quatri\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Bref, la tradition grecque l&rsquo;avait dans son sang. Pouss\u00e9 par une passion pour l&rsquo;histoire, il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9tudier l&rsquo;art grec classique. Il d\u00e9cide donc de redonner vie aux bijoux grecs conserv\u00e9s dans les mus\u00e9es. Bien s\u00fbr, pour recr\u00e9er ces bijoux de deux mill\u00e9naires plus t\u00f4t, il fallait apprendre l&rsquo;ancienne technique d&rsquo;orf\u00e8vrerie: granulation, filigrane, tissage \u00e0 la main, martelage. Sa premi\u00e8re collection, en 1957, \u00e9tait donc une \u00abcollection arch\u00e9ologique\u00bb inspir\u00e9e des \u00e9poques classique, hell\u00e9nistique et myc\u00e9nienne. Il a ensuite continu\u00e9 sur la m\u00eame voie avec des bijoux dont l&rsquo;or \u00e9tait la mati\u00e8re quasi exclusive. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, il a \u00e9videmment \u00e9largi les collections avec des pi\u00e8ces modernes, mais sans abandonner l&rsquo;inspiration au monde de l&rsquo;antiquit\u00e9. En 1998, l&rsquo;entreprise passe aux filles, qui continuent de renouveler les collections, toujours en suivant le chemin du ma\u00eetre fondateur. La tradition, en fait, se poursuit encore aujourd&rsquo;hui avec des bijoux qui sont inspir\u00e9s de la tradition des bijoux grecs, avec une certaine influence orientale.<\/p>\n<figure
