Aussi pour cette raison, par exemple, il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, elle a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une collection de six bijoux de haute joaillerie avec des \u00e9meraudes et des diamants de la Zambie des mines Gemfields, qui revendique un processus d&rsquo;acquisition \u00e9thique des pierres. La collection rend hommage \u00e0 Dido Elizabeth Belle, n\u00e9e en esclavage dans les Antilles en 1761, mais a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9e et \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 Londres, et pour Sarah Forbes Bonetta, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme un \u00ab\u00a0cadeau\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la reine Victoria en 1850 et plus tard grandi comme la filleule de la reine. Bref, des histoires d&rsquo;esclavage d&rsquo;autrefois. Mais cette Vania, de peau sombre, voulait se souvenir. Mais ensuite elle a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 que les bijoux \u00e9taient plus int\u00e9ressants que la vie sur le podium et elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Institut de Gemological d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique et a ensuite travaill\u00e9 pour Graff et De Beers. Comment dire que \u00e7a a commenc\u00e9 d&rsquo;en haut. Ayant appris son m\u00e9tier, elle ouvre un atelier \u00e0 New Bond Street, Londres.
