Tel un personnage mythologique, la cr\u00e9atrice a r\u00e9uni autour d&rsquo;elle une foule d&rsquo;adeptes d\u00e9vou\u00e9s. Outre Hydra, l&rsquo;\u00eele o\u00f9 elle est n\u00e9e et qui se situe \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du P\u00e9loponn\u00e8se, Elena Votsi a \u00e9galement ouvert une boutique \u00e0 Ath\u00e8nes. Un chemin pr\u00e9destin\u00e9, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle a avou\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle voulait travailler avec des bijoux depuis l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de dix ans. Mais en v\u00e9rit\u00e9, elle a acquis une renomm\u00e9e internationale avant elle en cr\u00e9ant pour Gucci Casa \u00e0 Florence. Ne pensez pas qu&rsquo;Elena, qui porte le m\u00eame nom que la reine de Sparte protagoniste de l&rsquo;Odyss\u00e9e, soit amoureuse des traditions classiques et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement orientales de l&rsquo;orf\u00e8vrerie de la Gr\u00e8ce antique. Pas du tout : moins c&rsquo;est plus, telle est sa devise. Des formes simples, mais marqu\u00e9es par des volumes capables de cr\u00e9er de la lumi\u00e8re et de l&rsquo;ombre. Elle aime aussi concevoir des pi\u00e8ces assez grandes, \u00ab parce que c&rsquo;est comme peindre sur une grande toile \u00bb, explique-t-elle. Elle est plut\u00f4t influenc\u00e9e par la mer qu&rsquo;elle regarde par la fen\u00eatre, par le soleil grec, par les bateaux du port. Vous utilisez principalement de l&rsquo;or jaune 18 carats, \u00e9ventuellement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des tourmalines, des saphirs, des diamants blancs ou noirs, des rubis et des tsavorites. Une grande satisfaction pour Elena, qui fait honneur \u00e0 ses origines, est de concevoir les m\u00e9dailles des JO des jeux d&rsquo;Ath\u00e8nes en 2004.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_114313\"
