Pas \u00e9tonnant que <strong>Sunita Nahata<\/strong> ait grandi dans ce qu&rsquo;on appelle aussi la ville rose, et o\u00f9 travaillent tant de joailliers c\u00e9l\u00e8bres. Pourtant, elle fait partie de ces designers indiens (elle n&rsquo;est pas la seule) \u00e0 avoir choisi Hong Kong comme base. M\u00eame si elle a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 en Chine, elle n&rsquo;a pas oubli\u00e9 ses racines indiennes, avec une touche d&rsquo;\u00e9clectisme chinois m\u00eal\u00e9e au go\u00fbt occidental. Le r\u00e9sultat est original. Les racines de Jaipur, l&rsquo;un des plus importants centres d&rsquo;approvisionnement et de production de pierres pr\u00e9cieuses au monde, restent fortes. Auparavant, elle a beaucoup travaill\u00e9 dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de n\u00e9goce de pierres, Keen Jade, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la pierre pr\u00e9cieuse la plus pr\u00e9cieuse d&rsquo;Asie. Mais derri\u00e8re elle elle a aussi un Master en Art et Litt\u00e9rature obtenu \u00e0 Jaipur. Ses bijoux vont des bagues cocktail avec des pierres pr\u00e9cieuses color\u00e9es, aux pendentifs lustre inspir\u00e9s de l&rsquo;architecture des anciens palais indiens, jusqu&rsquo;aux bijoux les plus classiques, avec des diamants et des pierres pr\u00e9cieuses combin\u00e9s dans les formes habituelles de la haute joaillerie.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_117142\"
