Mais la vente pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement une opportunit\u00e9 sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent pour ceux qui aiment le design des ann\u00e9es 60 et 70. Dans le catalogue, en effet, il y a aussi une dizaine de bijoux d&rsquo;<strong>Andrew Grima<\/strong>. Probablement aussi parce que sa formation \u00e9tait loin de l&rsquo;or et des diamants : Grima a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie m\u00e9canique \u00e0 Londres et a fait partie des Royal Engineers pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Une \u00e9trange co\u00efncidence l&rsquo;am\u00e8ne alors \u00e0 s&rsquo;occuper de la comptabilit\u00e9 dans la bijouterie du p\u00e8re de sa femme et, de l\u00e0, au d\u00e9partement design. L&rsquo;imagination et les solutions innovantes dans la cr\u00e9ation de bijoux l&rsquo;ont rendu c\u00e9l\u00e8bre et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 de la famille royale, ainsi que des c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l&rsquo;anc\u00eatre de la joaillerie moderne, qui n&rsquo;est plus ancr\u00e9e dans le style traditionnel.
