L&rsquo;italienne Barba Bassi, par exemple, pr\u00e9sente un collier transformable en bracelets de Mario Buccellati, ainsi que deux bracelets artistiques de Pol Bury et Arman. Bernard Bouisset, quant \u00e0 lui, pr\u00e9sentera une bague avec un saphir bleu pesant 19,25 carats et un collier Van Cleef &amp; Arpels pouvant se porter en bracelet et broche pour un total de 50 carats de diamants. La galerie expose une riche collection de bijoux parmi lesquels se distingue le pr\u00e9cieux diad\u00e8me Paon de Philippe Wolfers (Bruxelles, 1858-1929) en or, argent, diamants, \u00e9mail et opale \u00e0 l&rsquo;histoire singuli\u00e8re. Patricia De Wit avait initialement acquis la broche paon des descendants de L\u00e9opold Kronacher, n\u00e9e Marie-Laure Brunard (elle \u00e9tait d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment en avance sur son temps), qui avait personnellement command\u00e9 la pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 Philippe Wolfers. Le pr\u00e9cieux paon a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu comme l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ment central d&rsquo;un diad\u00e8me. Philippe Wolfers ins\u00e9rait souvent des pierres semi-pr\u00e9cieuses dans ses cr\u00e9ations : en l&rsquo;occurrence le corps du paon est taill\u00e9 dans une opale, dont il aimait le jeu d\u00e9licat des couleurs et la semi-transparence. Selon les archives, le diad\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 1902-1903 et est l&rsquo;une des rares pi\u00e8ces uniques du ma\u00eetre belge, particuli\u00e8rement recherch\u00e9e par les collectionneurs du monde entier. Les bijoux de Philippe Wolfers se trouvent dans les plus grands mus\u00e9es du monde, dont le Virginia Museum of Fine Art (\u00c9tats-Unis), le Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim (Allemagne) et les Mus\u00e9es
