Le photographe am\u00e9ricain, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 en 1987 et auteur de portraits transgressifs, notamment de la communaut\u00e9 LGBT, \u00e9tait au centre d&rsquo;une collection pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en 2021 par le cr\u00e9ateur italien. Un an plus tard, le cr\u00e9ateur parisien (la Maison est entr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;orbite du groupe LVMH), propose de nouvelles pi\u00e8ces inspir\u00e9es du travail du photographe, en collaboration avec la Fondation Robert Mapplethorpe. Parce que Mapplethorpe dans les ann\u00e9es 60 avait aussi cr\u00e9\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame des bijoux ou, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, des bijoux. Gaia Repossi s&rsquo;est inspir\u00e9e de plus de 150 r\u00e9f\u00e9rences de l&rsquo;artiste conserv\u00e9es dans les archives de la Fondation Robert Mapplethorpe \u00e0 New York. Les bijoux de la collection Gaia Repossi sont de diff\u00e9rents types : bagues en or blanc poli miroir, mais aussi en or noir, avec un contraste qui rappelle les images en noir et blanc du photographe. Mais les colliers de diamants ne manquent pas. En tout, 11 nouvelles pi\u00e8ces r\u00e9parties en six th\u00e8mes, avec des noms li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre de Robert Mapplethorpe : Dagger, Black x Cross, Bullseye, Relic, Chain et
