Depuis une vingtaine d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es pourtant, elle vit et travaille \u00e0 Londres, o\u00f9 elle cr\u00e9e des pi\u00e8ces uniques en or ou en argent rigoureusement recycl\u00e9. La qualifier de simple cr\u00e9atrice de bijoux, c&rsquo;est pourtant trop peu. Le processus cr\u00e9atif d&rsquo;Ute Decker est n\u00e9, en effet, de l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un simple fil de fer du jardin, enroul\u00e9 et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 selon les id\u00e9es cr\u00e9atives qui conduisent ensuite \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de prototypes, de maquettes et, \u00e0 la fin , le bijou. L&rsquo;inspiration pour concevoir les bijoux vient du charme de la dynamique des formes, mais aussi de l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les cultures oppos\u00e9es, comme le zen et l&rsquo;art tribal. Ses bijoux sculpturaux se retrouvent dans d&rsquo;importantes collections priv\u00e9es et publiques, dont le Victoria &amp; Albert Museum.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_105127\"
