L&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nement co\u00efncide \u00e9galement avec la saison du jubil\u00e9, les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations du 70e anniversaire du r\u00e8gne de la reine Elizabeth. Et parmi les diad\u00e8mes expos\u00e9s, il y en a un plus sp\u00e9cial que les autres : l&rsquo;historique Spencer Tiara, port\u00e9 par l&rsquo;un des membres les plus influents de la famille royale : Lady Diana. Le diad\u00e8me date de 1767 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 transmis de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration au sein de la famille Spencer. Lady Diana \u00e9tait connue pour adorer son diad\u00e8me Spencer, le portant souvent lors d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements sp\u00e9ciaux : elle l&rsquo;a choisi au moins sept fois entre 1983 et 1992.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations du Jubil\u00e9 de la Reine nous ont donn\u00e9 l&rsquo;occasion id\u00e9ale de pr\u00e9senter au public une s\u00e9lection exceptionnelle de diad\u00e8mes de provenance noble et royale, dont beaucoup n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9s depuis des d\u00e9cennies. L&rsquo;approvisionnement de ces bijoux a \u00e9t\u00e9 un travail d&rsquo;amour, r\u00e9sultant en une exposition qui pr\u00e9sente les meilleures it\u00e9rations dans le registre du style diad\u00e8me, \u00e0 travers certaines de ses incarnations les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres &#8211; y compris le tr\u00e8s aim\u00e9 et photographi\u00e9 Spencer Tiara. Ou le Derby Tiara, initialement cr\u00e9\u00e9 pour la duchesse de Devonshire en 1893 et le Westminster Halo Tiara, command\u00e9 aux joailliers parisiens Lacloche Fr\u00e8res en 1930 par le duc de Westminster pour son \u00e9pouse Loelia Ponsonby. Le diad\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9 par le joaillier de la couronne Joseph Kitching, pour la somme princi\u00e8re (\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque) de 1 150 livres sterling. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;un des nombreux bijoux que le prince a con\u00e7us pour la reine au fil des ans et qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 son pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9. La reine Victoria est \u00e9galement connue pour avoir port\u00e9 le diad\u00e8me lors de plusieurs engagements officiels, dont une visite d&rsquo;\u00c9tat en France en 1855.<br \/>\n<figure
