A los 15 dise\u00f1\u00f3 sus primeras joyas y perfeccion\u00f3 su experiencia en el Instituto Pratt de Brooklyn. En 2007 lanz\u00f3 su primera colecci\u00f3n. Sus joyas son el resultado, dice, de un largo estudio, que comienza con el dibujo de muchos bocetos. Utiliza oro de 14 y 18 quilates, adem\u00e1s de las gemas cl\u00e1sicas, comenzando con diamantes. Le encantan las peque\u00f1as joyas, para llevar todas juntas.
