Nacido en Florencia hace 54 a\u00f1os, a los 21 a\u00f1os se mud\u00f3 a los Estados Unidos y asisti\u00f3 al Instituto Gemol\u00f3gico de Am\u00e9rica en Santa M\u00f3nica, California. Graduado en gemolog\u00eda, decidi\u00f3 poner en pr\u00e1ctica las ense\u00f1anzas. Sus dioses inspiradores, sin embargo, fueron dise\u00f1adores como Ren\u00e9 Boivin, Suzanne Belperron y Raymond Templier.
