Por ejemplo, una serie de piezas de Van Cleef &amp; Arpels que comparten un uso generoso de rub\u00edes est\u00e1n en el cat\u00e1logo. Las joyas son parte de una colecci\u00f3n adquirida alrededor de 1990, que incluye un brazalete con rub\u00edes y diamantes hechos con Mystery Set, la t\u00e9cnica patentada de la Maison. Dos anillos en particular est\u00e1n en el centro de atenci\u00f3n. El primero tiene un zafiro de talla ovalada de 5,16 quilates flanqueado por dos diamantes de talla brillante. El segundo es un anillo con un zafiro de 4,46 quilates y diamantes, fechado alrededor de 1900.
