Las joyas se exhibieron en Londres y en la prestigiosa Galer\u00eda Louisa Guinness, en la Galer\u00eda Colnaghi de Nueva York. La oscuridad, en este caso, se utiliz\u00f3 para ver mejor los minerales fluorescentes y fosforescentes encontrados por el dise\u00f1ador brit\u00e1nico despu\u00e9s de una larga b\u00fasqueda. Por ejemplo, las espinelas de color rosa brillante de la mina Mansin en Birmania son llamadas espinelas Jedi por los comerciantes locales porque su fuerte fluorescencia recuerda a los sables de luz de Star Wars.
