Si, hasta ahora, De Beers ha aparecido como el enemigo ac\u00e9rrimo de los diamantes artificiales, ahora ha decidido venderlos. Un examen gemol\u00f3gico simple, incluso por un experto, no puede indicar qu\u00e9 diamante es verdadero y cu\u00e1l es falso o, mejor, creado en el laboratorio. Muy pocos centros de an\u00e1lisis, con m\u00e1quinas muy costosas y dif\u00edciles de usar, pueden determinar hoy si una piedra se extrajo de una mina en Leshoto (por ejemplo) o si se produjo en una f\u00e1brica en China o en los EE. UU.<br \/>\nAs\u00ed que los diamantes sint\u00e9ticos comienzan a venderse cada vez m\u00e1s a menudo, y a veces se venden con certificados (falsificaciones) que dan fe de su autenticidad. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9, entonces, no ha invadido el mercado? Por dos razones. El primero es que la producci\u00f3n de diamantes sint\u00e9ticos de alta calidad es un proceso costoso y, por lo tanto, el precio es m\u00e1s bajo pero no demasiado comparado con una piedra natural. El segundo es que una invasi\u00f3n de diamantes tendr\u00eda el efecto de bajar el precio en el mercado y es un resultado que ninguna compa\u00f1\u00eda que comercia en diamantes quiere lograr.<br \/>\nEn resumen, \u00bfahora el diamante artificial es para siempre? De Beers intenta frenar el clamor de las noticias: ser\u00e1, explica la compa\u00f1\u00eda, un negocio secundario, comercializado bajo la marca Lightbox. Tal vez.
