La pel\u00edcula se toma de la novela escrita en 1965 por Jan Potocki, <em>El manuscrito encontrado en Zaragoza<\/em> (publicado en Italia por Adelphi). El reparto incluye a Nahuel P\u00e9rez Biscayart (120 latidos por minuto), Valentina Cervi, Caterina Murino, Alessandro Haber, Flavio Bucci, Umberto Orsini y Alessio Boni.
