Un anillo de Verdura con un rub\u00ed de 16 quilates se vendi\u00f3 en abril pasado en una subasta de Christie en Nueva York por 14,6 millones de d\u00f3lares. Y ahora Christie&#8217;st rata de nuevo, pero en Hong Kong: el 29 de noviembre se ha programada una subasta con le deslumbrante Ratnaraj Ruby. Con un color rojo brillante y una estructura cristalina perfecta, la piedra fue bautizada ratnaraj, que significa \u00abrey de piedras preciosas\u00bb en el antiguo s\u00e1nscrito (la lengua india hist\u00f3rica). En realidad, el rub\u00ed, con un peso de m\u00e1s de 10 quilates, montado en un anillo y rodeado de diamantes, se trata de Birmania. Esta piedra se considera que es de color excepcional y se llama sangre de paloma, una cualidad muy rara. Viene de Faidee, una marca que es casi sin\u00f3nimo de rub\u00edes.
