El fot\u00f3grafo estadounidense, fallecido en 1987 y autor de retratos transgresores, especialmente de la comunidad LGBT, estuvo en el centro de una colecci\u00f3n presentada en 2021 por el dise\u00f1ador italiano. Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, la dise\u00f1adora afincada en Par\u00eds (la Maison ha entrado en la \u00f3rbita del grupo LVMH), propone nuevas piezas inspiradas en el trabajo del fot\u00f3grafo, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Fundaci\u00f3n Robert Mapplethorpe. Gaia Repossi se inspir\u00f3 en m\u00e1s de 150 referencias del artista conservadas en los archivos de la Fundaci\u00f3n Robert Mapplethorpe en Nueva York. Las joyas de la colecci\u00f3n Gaia Repossi son de diferentes tipos: anillos en oro blanco pulido espejo, pero tambi\u00e9n en oro negro, con un contraste que recuerda las im\u00e1genes en blanco y negro del fot\u00f3grafo. Pero no hay escasez de collares de diamantes. En total hay 11 piezas nuevas divididas en seis temas, con nombres relacionados con la obra de Robert Mapplethorpe: Dagger, Black x Cross, Bullseye, Relic, Chain y American Eagle.<br \/>\n<figure
