The porcelain orchids are handcrafted, also joined to chains and silver links passed in a ruthenium bath, which darken the metal, with a decided contrast compared to the delicate surface polished by porcelain. Porcelain, incidentally, is not as delicate as one might think: they are easily used for rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets.
