VicenzaOro is changing. Starting in 2015, the traditional spring event (VicenzaOro Spring) will disappear, to make way for a new format. What this format will be like is still a bit vague. The fact is that Fiera di Vicenza announced the change during a meeting with the goldsmiths’ trade associations. The announcement of the change, perhaps determined by a less than brilliant result (this year, VicenzaOro Spring happened right after Basel), was made by the vice president of Fiera di Vicenza, Stefano Stenta, and the general manager Corrado Facco. The program for 2014, however, still includes the three traditional editions of VicenzaOro: Winter from 18 to 23 January, Spring from 10 to 13 May 2014, and Fall from 6 to 10 September, in addition to the foreign events in Dubai, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, San Paolo, and Mumbai. Next year there will already be some new features, starting with the new concept The Boutique Show, for Winter and Fall, which will start in January 2015. The new fair format will be very specific for some market segments. As mentioned, it will replace VicenzaOro Spring already in spring 2015.
