In short, it is almost a partnership, given that Cartier has created a set for the robbery of the film.<br \/>\nAnd this is not just any necklace: the Toussaint series is a tribute to Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier&#8217;s creative director in the 1930s, who played a decisive role in establishing the Cartier style. The original necklace was instead designed in 1931 for the Maharaja of Nawanagar by Jacques Cartier, but no longer exists, although Cartier has preserved in his archives a design drawing and photographs of the jewel and its owner. The one worn by Anne Hathaway, however, is reduced by 15-20% compared to the original size, which was designed for a man.<br \/>\nThe colored diamonds in the original piece have been replaced with zirconium oxides, a natural material, mounted on white gold. But it was not easy: Cartier mobilized its high jewelry workshops for eight weeks, the time (short) required by the production of the film. But that&#8217;s not all: in the film there are also other Cartier jewels and watches.
