For the record, the dress was signed by Jenny Packham. But few have noticed another aspect: the necklace and earrings of diamonds and emeralds worn by the duchess. No official statement specified the origin of the jewel worn for the first time by Kate Middleton. Someone has speculated that it is one of the many jewels owned by Queen Elizabeth and lent for the occasion to the wife of the nephew. Could be. But the fact is that no known image portrays the queen with that jewel, but with other diamond and emerald necklaces.
