Do you want to see up close the diamond, pearl, silver and gold tiara worn by Queen Elizabeth II on the way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey for her coronation in 1953? The ceremony is now remembered in an exhibition (The Queen’s Coronation 1953) organized in London, at Buckingham Palace. In fact, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the event. The exhibition, in addition to the super crown jewel, brings together a series of clothes, uniforms and dresses worn for the event. Paintings, objects and works of art relating to the Coronation will be on display from 27 July until 29 September 2013.<\/p>\n
