In Turin there is a exhibition and a contest with 13 designers. The focus is the ring\u00a0♦<\/strong>
\nThe jewel is posing. That is to say it wants to be observed. It’s not a magic bijoux that came from a Harry Potter book, but an international competition reserved for jewelery designers. Il gioiello si mette in posa has its inauguration on May 13, 2017 in Turin. The competition is biennial and is organized by Creativity Oggetti. The subject on which the lighthouse is illuminated is the ring as object-sculpture in space. That is, a ring is not just an accessory to wear but also a decorative object. Here are the 13 selected international authors: Rafael Luis Alvarez (Argentina), Nikolai Balabin (Russia-Filnlandia), Angela Ciobanu (Romania), Nicolas Estrada (Colombia), Anna Kr\u00f3l (Poland), Laura Forte (Italy), Marco Malasomma ), Renata Manganelli (Italy), Lital Mendel (Israel), Liliya Milpetrova (Bulgaria-England), Mabel Pena (Argentina), Stenia Scarselli (Italy), Nicole Schuster (Germany). Designers present not only unique pieces, but also collections.
\nThe contest also includes visitors, along with the jury, in the choice of the winner. The works are on display and sold until June 30, 2017.
