Fascinated by nature and especially by insects, Daniela Villegas<\/strong> (we’ve already talked about: http:\/\/gioiellis.com\/la-fauna-di-daniela-villegas) <\/a>\u00a0 with her jewels creates a world permeated with precious,\u00a0but unusual creatures. Sometimes she reproduces specimens that are found in nature, the Mexican designers have often travel just to visit the exhibitions and events dedicated to entomology, other times they are imaginative exercises that still refer to wild animals and more generally to the fauna and flora, in its colors and\u00a0shape. The little bugs\u00a0in\u00a0the latest collection named Backyard are animated by love and cooperation. A coming-out\u00a0of hearts and arrows due the fact this feeling is always an option, and nature itself is a team effort. Opal is among her\u00a0favorite stones because it seems a sky crossed by the rainbow, tourmaline for its infinte varieties and sapphire because otherwise opal is very hard\u00a0and therefore easier to work with in jewelry. And finally, to give a little touch of sparkle she uses diamonds. It is not known which\u00a0gems she’s going to select for the collaboration \u00a0with Ferragamo<\/strong>, but what is certain that between late April and May a new collection will be unveiled. Meanwhile, it has to dig up\u00a0small animals from the backyard\u00a0not only as a physical space but as a land that belongs everyone. Matilde de Bounvilles<\/strong><\/p>\n
