In Vicenza, Fratelli Bovo has evolved into the Peruffo Jewelry brand: it produces delicate jewels with eclectic shapes thanks to sophisticated technology ♦<\/p>\n

It is not true that goldsmith tradition cannot be combined with technological innovation: this is demonstrated by the Vicenza company Fratelli Bovo, founded in 1977 by brothers Ivana and Luciano Bovo, now led by cousins \u200b\u200bMichele, Enrico and Roberto. Today the company is run by Enrico Peruffo, second generation and CEO of the brand, who gave the new brand Peruffo Jewelry its name. In an area where goldsmithing is often passed down as a secret from father to son, Fratelli Bovo has decided to push itself to the limits of the possibilities that technology offers: from traditional microfusion, to three-dimensional sheet metal work with laser cutting and assembly, from numerically controlled mechanical work to the most recent introduction of Slm technology. Since you probably have never heard of it, here is what it is.

Necklace composed of mobile segments, built from a series of strips similar to pyramids: mobile bars in 18k gold embellished with blue agate studs<\/figcaption><\/figure>
\nBasically, the jewels made with this technique are first designed on the computer in 3D. Then, a special machine deposits a thin layer of metal powder on a work surface that is then melted by a laser. Obviously the movement follows the 3D design. Layer after layer the jewel is composed until the design is complete. But this manufacturing technique also allows for the creation of shapes that were previously impossible with traditional microfusion techniques. You can see the result in some of these images (a good part of the jewels continue to be made with the usual systems).
