This was announced by Miner Petra Diamonds: the group specified that it had found the diamond in its Cullinan mine. After the announcement, the group&#8217;s shares rose by 5%. Blue diamonds are very rare, but the Cullinan mine has already produced others, including a phenomenal 26.6-carat gem, from which a perfect 7-carat stone was produced, which sold for $9.49 million in May of 2009.
