It’s called Philo<\/strong>. The greek word meaning “friend of”, while in Italian language sounds like the word filo (wire), which for Encicolpedia Treccani can be defined as “long, thin metal rod obtained from round laminated, using a special cold ironing called wire drawing” . But Philo is now also a brand, born by Stefano Guagliumi , founder of the brand Snob OpsObjects and Milan, and Sergio Acquaviva. The Philo is allowed to cool and then is pickled, cut to size and polished. This process results in a wire of the right softness, which will assume the natural forms of the wrist and takes life on it. Iconic elements are obtained by precision casting, have a small cylinder within which is inserted an even smaller cylinder rubber tube, which allows the element to be slipped on Philo and, by friction, positioned in the preferred position.
