But it&#8217;s all a question of measurement. Wearing this 222 meter long necklace (record certified by the Guinness Book of Records) could be uncomfortable. The necklace is on display in a Hanshin department store, Osaka, Japan. The necklace weighs approximately 20 kilograms and is made up of 28 thousand pearls with a diameter of 8 millimetres. The idea of \u200b\u200bstringing thousands of pearls came to Shima, the local tourist association, in the hope of advertising the town as a perfect place for the cultured pearl industry. The necklace, in case someone feels unhealthy temptation, is not for sale.
