A collection and an exhibition that has been around the world: Precious<\/strong>, it will arrive in Venice<\/strong> in February.\u00a0After New York, Athens, Valencia, Miami, Seoul will also host in Italy the 200 works collected by Diane Venet<\/strong> and made by the best-known painters and sculptors from the second half of the twentieth century to the present. From Picasso<\/strong> to Kapoor<\/strong>, from Braque<\/strong> to Koons<\/strong>, from Stella<\/strong> to Hirst<\/strong>. The collection began with a thin stick of silver as a wedding ring of her husband, the sculptor Bernar Venet<\/strong>, has grown over time with other gifts like the brooch crumpled aluminum and painted by Chamberlain or on a specific request, for example to Stella and C\u00e9sar or yet the result of the meeting with other collectors. Obviously there are Italians: Giacomo Balla<\/strong> and Gino Severini<\/strong> the great protagonists of Futurism, the sculptor Fausto Melotti<\/strong>, the exponent of the Transavanguardia Mimmo<\/strong> Paladino<\/strong> up to Lucio del Pezzo<\/strong>, Sandro Chia<\/strong> and Mimmo Rotella<\/strong>. Objects like a painting or a sculpture spring from a creative process, testify an artistic approach even more playful, and for this can not be measured in carats.<\/p>\n
